How to Troubleshoot Meta Integrations in Pearl Diver

#200 Permission Error

What it means:

You haven’t finished setting up your Meta Ad Account or permissions, which prevents you from creating or syncing audiences.

How to fix it:

1.      Go to your Meta Ad Account:

2.      In the left menu, click Audiences.

3.      Click Create a custom audience > Customer list.

4.      If your setup isn’t complete, Meta will show an error message similar to the below. Follow the instructions in that message.

5.      To double-check your setup:

o    Go to Account Overview in your Ad Account.

o    Make sure you can see the Publish Ad options.

o    If the Continue button is greyed out, your setup is incomplete.


If the setup is still incomplete, make sure Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is enabled for your Meta Ad Account and let you Account Manager know.

#400 Custom Audience Terms Exception

What it means:

You haven’t accepted Meta’s Custom Audience Terms.

How to fix it:

1.      Log in to Meta Ads Manager.

2.      Make sure the correct Ad Account is selected (top right corner).

3.      While in the correct account, go to this link:

4.      Once accepted, retry authorizing in Pearl Diver.

#190 Auth 0 Refresh Token Invalid

What it means:

Your Meta connection in Pearl Diver has expired.

How to fix it:

      1.    Confirm you're logged into the same Meta Ad Account you used when first authorizing the integration with Pearl Diver.

2.     Verify that the audience still exists in that Ad Account.

3.     Your Account Manager will then retry syncing the audience after confirming the above.

#1870065 Audience Contains Disabled Audience

What it means:

The Meta audience you’re trying to use has been disabled.

How to fix it:

Get in touch with your Account Manager to enable your audience.
