# Exclude routing email through Black Pearl Mail when sent to a specific user for M365

These steps will allow you to exclude routing email through Black Pearl Mail went sent to a specific user in M365.

STEP 1 – Log in to M365 Exchange Admin Console

1\. Open the Microsoft 365 Exchange admin console -  [https://admin.exchange.microsoft.com](https://admin.exchange.microsoft.com)

2\. Sign in with your M365 global admin credentials.

STEP 2 - Edit Existing Black Pearl Mail Rule

**1. S**elect  ***Mail flow***   ***\> Rules*** from the left-hand side menu.

2\. Click on the ***Black Pearl Mail*** rule.

3\. Click ***Edit rule conditions***.

4\. Scroll down to ***Except if*** and click the ***+*** symbol.

5\. A new ***Or*** option will appear down the bottom of the page. In the first drop down, select ***The recipient***. In the second drop down, select ***Address includes any of these words***.

6\. A new window should open up. Enter the ***email address of the recipient*** you would like to exclude from routing through Black Pearl Mail, then click the ***Add*** button. Repeat the steps if there are additional addresses to add.

7\. Click ***Save***.

8\. Click ***Save*** again.
